A Tea Infuser Belongs To The Fine Art Of Tea Making.  A Must For You To Have To Make That Perfect Cup.

When you have a cup you tea, you want the very best.  A tea infuser is essential to make that cup special.  The choices are many and varied.  Please bear in mind that tea leaves need lots of room to expand when boiling water is poured over them.  You will find tea eggs, mini tea eggs, infusers of all varieties, teapots with infusers. So don't choose a mini tea egg when you're making tea.  Although a mini tea egg could be fine if you just have a mug of tea.

For a cup of tea which is full of flavor, choose an infuser.  There are great teapots out there which have infusers built into them and they come in two varieties.  I have a teapot which has a 'strainer' holes built into it.  Although this is great, if you leave the tea in too long (i.e. for a second cup, for example), the tea can get strong or bitter because the leaves are still in the water, so you have to consider that.  The second type is where the infuser actually fits into the teapot and you then pour boiling water directly into it.  After 3-5 minutes you can take the infuser out, or just serve the tea - the leaves in the infuser are then above the level of the tea in the pot, so you'll never get a bitter cup.  Also the infuser is as wide as the 'mouth' of the teapot so it's a good size so the tea leaves have room to expand and develop their true taste and aroma.  Tea eggs are another option.  When using them, please leave lots of room for the leaves to unfurl.  You can see the huge varieties of tea eggs online - they come in all variations of style and material.  So don't choose a mini tea egg when you're making tea.  Although a mini tea egg could be fine if you just have a mug of tea.

Tea made with an infuser gives it the very best flavor so you'll get the best cup.  You'll never have to worry about tea tasting bitter again.  It's well worth the extra investment.  Just make sure when you use them, you leave plenty of room for the tea leaves to expand.
