Chinese Tea is best made in Chinese Teapots

If you're looking for wonderful, unusual teapots to serve Chinese green tea, then there are many teapots that are quite beautiful as well as serving the best green tea. They are truly special. Tea came to us from China many centuries ago and the Chinese have wonderful teapots.

The Chinese have many teapots styles. TeoChew teapots are used by Chinese all over the world for tea-drinking. They are made of red clay from the Teo Chew region of China and this clay is affordable unlike the beautiful Yixing teapots made of purple clay. These Yixing teapots keep the tea hotter which is good for black and oolong teas but not for Chinese green tea. Chinese Tea pots come in all shapes and sizes and are made from clay, porcelain and even jade.  There are many websites out there where you can see their beauty, learn about the artists and history of teapots and then purchase one (or more).  Chinese green tea is more delicate than black tea.  The water for making tea should be boiled, but then left to cool down for a couple of minutes before being poured over the tea leaves.

Make the most of your green tea by serving it in a Chinese teapot. Tea is a social drink and serving it in a beautiful teapot, surrounded by matching small cups makes tea into an occasion.
