Choose Herbal Teas To Ease That Sore Throat
When you or a member of your family suffers with a sore throat, it's great to have a good tasting herbal remedy on hand. These can be

1 cup of boiling water, steeped for 10 minutes and strained) eases your sore throat by coating it with a gel-like substance to protect it. Ginger
tea (2 inch piece of fresh ginger to 4 cups of boiling water simmered for 20 minutes and strained). Licorice root can be an effective sore throat
remedy but not for people with high blood pressure, liver disease, heart disease, kidney disease, pregnant or nursing mothers. Honeysuckle flower
tea (1 cup of honeysuckle flowers to 1 quart of boiling water, steeped for 10 minutes and strained) is another good remedy. You can also use some
teas to gargle with and thus help relieve a sore throat. These teas include: raspberry leaf tea, thyme, turmeric, cinnamon, cayenne and again
ginger. These teas should be consumed or gargled warm. It's also recommended to consult your doctor. Look on the internet for a plethora of

These herbal teas are just great to have in your kitchen – ready when a sore throat strikes, but they are also wonderful consumed just for
pleasure. Herbal teas contain no caffeine and are a healthy alternative to caffeinated teas or coffee.
