Ice Tea Is Not Just A Summer Drink!

If you like to enjoy ice tea, then this article is for you. You can benefit from drinking this cold tea all year long - regardless of the weather.

In the Southern States of the U.S. it is a very popular drink and is served sweet and is the drink of choice with most meals, regardless of the temperature and season. Most Southerners will have a pitcher of this sweet tea in their fridge - ready for daily consumption. This is simply made by making regular strong tea and then adding ice cubes and cold water. In the North, "sweet tea" is not very popular. Here it is often served without sugar. In fact, whether sweetened or not, it's a great drink that you can very easily jazz up by adding some fruit and  juice - in fact ice tea punch used to be very popular and no wonder, it tastes great (with or without alcohol).  Traditionally black tea is used by you can have a great cool drink using your favorite herbal tea - say peppermint.
